JEE Mains Course

The JEE Main, abbreviated as JEE-Main or JEE-Mains, is a national level engineering entrance examination in India. It is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to undergraduate programmes in engineering and architecture in institutes of India. It was established in 2005 and was introduced by the University Grants Commission (UGC). It was later administered by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) from 2010 to 2017. The exam started being conducted by the NTA from 2017.

JEE Main is not a direct admission test for all the engineering colleges. In fact, it’s a qualifying exam for students who want to pursue their Bachelors in Engineering from different colleges throughout the country. The score obtained from this exam will be used to make up any shortfall of marks between applicants and available seats left for a particular branch/college.

The NTA organises the JEE Main twice a year, once in January and once in April. It’s considered as one of the toughest exams that an Indian student would take before going to college because it requires a lot of hard work and preparation to achieve success.
